Froshies are what Lasallians call the first year college students.
This year's froshies orientation was grand, because for two years there was a break due to the transition period of the K-12 education curriculum.

Socio-civic and religious organizations (SCRO) are organizations wherein it focuses on involving oneself into the community.
Campus Tour
As the froshies had a tour around the campus, I saw the nervousness and as well as sparks of light in their faces. This is a whole new environment for those who had taken their Senior High School levels someplace else. And for those who had it DLSL, they are now seeing the school in a different role- as college students.
And with that, I give you all the more reasons to join a college organization.
  1. College is busy, and promise you'll want to take every break offered. But when its a school activity with no classes, still try to make an effort to attend these. The school does not require to participate but they do highly encourage. Plus, you wouldn't want to feel FOMO, wouldn't you.
  2. And thus organizations that are related to your passion gives life to your college days. Knowledge with application is more powerful.
  3. This will also be a chance for you to branch out and meet other people in school. There will be juniors, seniors, professors, and the like. And they will come from different courses.
  4. Being active in an organization, offers you multiple oppurtunities to attend events (yes some are out of school). This is the time for you to explore.
  5. And for the good of it, you can also add the participation in the organization's activities in your resume. Because once you graduate, you are fresh, and don't exactly have all the experiences yet. So in replace you may put the org.
Joining an organization is fun yet also needs some committment. At first you may end up in one you don't like, but that's not the end, you have a few more semesters. Because when you find your orgainzation, you'll also find a home.
